If you were wondering, the answer is yes โ Gecko Invisible is fitted to the window above. The slimmer profile is designed to be as discreet as possible from both outside and inside.
Compared with our original Gecko Pane, the visible profile from outside can reduce from around 12mm to around 4mm โ an up to 70% reduction in sightline. On a window with lots of smaller panes, that reduction is repeated around every piece of glass, which is why the visual difference can be so significant.
The tapered Gecko Invisible profile is deliberately slimmer at the glass edge, reducing the amount of frame you see from outside while still giving the pane the structure it needs.
Traditional timber windows often have slightly uneven putty and paint lines around the edge of the glass. Over years of maintenance and repainting, those lines can become irregular.
Gecko Invisible creates a clean, consistent line around each pane, so in many older windows it can make the glazing look sharper, tidier and more symmetrical once fitted. The profile remains discreet, helping to frame the original glass without dominating it.
